Haiti by Stephen A Dantes

Haiti

As babies, twins

A couple lies

And souls cry out

Another life

A mother dies

And father stares

Cast dark

With weeping eyes

The Earth quaked

To set death free

But,

There

To lie beneath the rubble

Hope,

In captivity.
